WHAT ARE STOCK PHOTOS?   This is not a normal deviantART account.  This is a stock account.  Do not browse through here expecting to see finished pieces.  That is not what a stock account is all about.  Stock photos are a resource for photo manipulators, digital artists, and traditional artists to use in their artwork.  If you would like to know more, check out the deviantART help section.  They offer some great explanations on what stock is and how it can be used here.

  WHAT YOU NEED TO DO    
1) Upload your deviation with my stock in it.  
2) In the deviation description, put up a link back to this account.  You can do that by typing in : devDarkMaiden-Stock : or : iconDarkMaiden-Stock : without the spaces.  I only ask you to do this so others can find this stock account too.
3) Send me a note with a link to your deviation (copy the URL and paste it in the note) or a message on the front page or on the photo used.

  ABOUT DA PRINTS    I hereby grant all Deviant Artists permission to use my stock in any and all Deviant Prints without restriction.  There is no need to ask for my permission.

  ABOUT USING MY STOCK OUTSIDE OF DEVIANTART    You can post your artwork made with my stock off site, use for school projects, or other nonprofit endeavors without further permission from me.  Just credit where you can and link back here when possible.

  ABOUT COMMERCIAL USE    Commercial use of your artwork made with my stock is allowed with no further permission from me, just no selling or redistribution of my raw stock photos.  

  ABOUT THE CHILD STOCK    My only request is that you not use the stock photos of my children in any deviation with sexual content.  Dark and/or gory art is fine (the kids just don't see those).

  ABOUT REQUESTS    I do not take requests for specific stock photos.

  ABOUT USING MY STOCK OUTSIDE OF DEVIANTART    You can post your artwork made with my stock off site and/or use for school projects without further permission from me.  Just credit where you can and link back here when possible.

  ABOUT USING MY STOCK FOR CONTESTS    You can use your artworks made with my stock for contests in and out of deviantART without further permission from me as long as it is not a photography contest looking for original photos.  Rights to the original photos belong to me.

ABOUT USING MY STOCK TO MAKE STOCK    For now, I do allow other stock artists to make stock from my stock (premade backgrounds, etc).  I haven't had an issue with this so far and hope not to.  Just please credit and make it clear that the artist using the stock you make should also follow the simple rules stated above.
