WHAT ARE STOCK PHOTOS? This is not a normal deviantART account. This is a stock account. Do not browse through here expecting to see finished pieces. That is not what a stock account is all about. Stock photos are a resource for photo manipulators, digital artists, and traditional artists to use in their artwork. If you would like to know more, check out the deviantART help section. They offer some great explanations on what stock is and how it can be used here. Please do not leave me critiques on these photos. I know the files are huge. They are supposed to be so the artists who use them have the best and biggest photo available. If you just can't live without critiquing something of mine, have a go at my main account, *DarkMaidenofSorrow, as all my finished works are there.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
1) Upload your deviation with my stock in it.
2) In the deviation description, put up a link back to this account. You can do that by typing in : devDarkMaiden-Stock : or : iconDarkMaiden-Stock : without the spaces. I only ask you to do this so others can find this stock account too.
3) Send me a NOTE with a link to your deviation (copy the URL and paste it in the note).

ABOUT PRINTS I hereby grant all DeviantArtists permission to use my stock in any and all Deviant Prints without restriction. There is no need to ask for my permission. You do not need to send a copy of the print to me - I know some stock artists do require this - but it would certainly be appreciated if anyone did.

ABOUT THE CHILDREN STOCK PHOTOS I have been accused of 'exploiting' my children by putting their photos up for others to manipulate. If you are one of those, don't bother noting me about it. I don't really care about about your opinions on my parenting choice. We do this as a family and have a lot of fun with it. I am not going to let a few rude individuals ruin it for the rest. My only request is that you not use the stock photos of my children in any deviation with sexual content. Dark and/or gory art is fine (the kids just don't see those).

ABOUT REQUESTS I do not take requests for specific stock photos (usually people ask in regards to the children). I don't want any obligations since we do this for fun and for free to the public. If you want to write me with suggestions, I can see if the kids are up to doing certain poses. However, I promise nothing, nor will I appreciate being harrassed if we don't ever do the pictures you suggest. I don't want to turn this into a 'have to' for the kids or for me.

I will your work if you use my stock so I can keep track of what is popular and what is used most.

I do not comment on your artwork just because you used my stock. I only comment if I have something to say. This is a busy account, and I would rather spend my time putting up more stock than cutting and pasting "Thanks for using my stock" on every image. If you have a problem with this, go use someone else's stock.
